Overview
Alexis Falicov, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in spine surgery. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, spine tumors, and complex spine deformity. He has extensive experience in general orthopedics, trauma and fracture care, and total joint replacement of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He combines extensive education, distinguished awards and honors and research in science and mathematics, specifically chemistry and physics, in his orthopedic practice.
Dr. Falicov believes in a comprehensive, analytical approach to spine and orthopedic problems. He uses both non-operative and operative techniques to achieve the optimal outcome for patients with an emphasis on the least invasive method to achieve an excellent outcome. He is a strong advocate for patient education and autonomy.
He enjoys living in the greater Seattle area with his wife and their two children. He is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language. He also speaks French and Mandarin Chinese.
