Overview
Michael K. McAdam, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. He also perform platelet-rich plasma therapy. He treats a broad range of patients, from professional and recreational athletes to people simply looking for less invasive treatments of their problems. From his work with the Seattle Seahawks and the US Rugby team, he has developed an understanding of a wide range of athletic injuries. In his work with both athletes and non-athletes in his practice, he has developed an understanding of the importance of personalized care for each person.
Dr. McAdam is a team orthopedic surgeon or consultant for the Seattle Seahawks, the USA Rugby Men’s National Team, the Seattle Rugby Football Club, and the Old Puget Sound Beach Rugby Football Club. He moved to Seattle in 1999 from Texas, and he, his wife, and their two daughters have made it their home. He enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, yoga, reading, and listening to music.
