Overview
E. Edward Khalfayan is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He also performs platelet-rich plasma therapy. His extensive experience with football and baseball injuries provides him with unique skills and knowledge that he uses in his private practice. He takes care of more professional athletes than any other orthopedist in the Northwest and provides the same level of care to all patients.
He is a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is an editorial reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine. He has been an orthopedic team physician for the Seattle Seahawks since 1996 and for the Seattle Mariners since 2006. He is also one of two orthopedic surgeons in the US who are head team physicians for both an NFL and an MLB team.
