Overview
Howard B. Barker, MD, specializes in foot and ankle procedures such as ankle arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, ankle and foot fusions, and bunion corrections. He also practices outpatient and inpatien knee and shoulder procedures such as total knee replacements, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and rotator cuff repair. He believes in basing his medical decisions on accurate up-to-date research and the needs of each indivual patient.
He was drawn to orthopedics early in life due to his own multiple sports injuries. Dr. Barker and his family are very involved with their church. He enjoys bicycling with his wife and children and fishing. He has also led sevral boy scout troups up Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker.
