Overview
Kevin Ko, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with specialized training on the treatment of shoulder and elbow disorders. He is dedicated to understanding the needs of his patients and determining the safest and most effective treatment for each individual. He has advanced training in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery, joint replacement surgery and fracture care.
His special surgical interests include: joint replacement arthroplasty for arthritis of the shoulder and elbow, arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff and labral tears, reconstruction for dislocating and unstable shoulders, arthroscopic elbow surgery, and biceps tendon repairs.
Dr. Ko is dedicated to understanding the needs of his patients and determining the safest and most effective treatment for each individual. He believes that each patient needs individualized care for his or her specific problem. He strives to empower each patient with the information needed to make an informed decision about their diagnosis and to decide on the best treatment option for their own unique situation.
Dr. Ko lives in Seattle with his wife and OPA joint replacement surgeon, Dr. Laura Matsen Ko. He enjoys being outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, pursuing activities including running, hiking, biking and skiing.
