Overview

James R. Alberts, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine care. His ability to create a treatment plan by using an advanced understanding of the biomechanics and physiology of the spine with the input from his patients helps facilitate his focus on treating the complete patient. Additionally, with physiatrists (non-operative spine doctors), physical therapists and interventional pain specialists as part of his treatment team he is well equipped to manage your condition without surgery or surgically if warranted. Surgically, he treats all conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine with the newest and modern techniques including the latest cervical disk replacement.

Dr. Alberts married his high school sweetheart, and together they have raised their three children in the Northwest. When not at work or with his family you will most likely find Dr. Alberts traveling, at the beach or on the golf course.
