Overview
Lawrence E. Holland, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in issues related to the knee and shoulder. He manages issues related to sports medicine, overuse, and aging in addition to general trauma to these areas. His pre-medical education was in engineering, which shaped his approach to these problems.
He treats a wide range of patients from pediatric to geriatric. He has also taken care of professional athletes and earthquake victims in the former Soviet Union. Having come to orthopedics by way of an engineering background, his approach to care is best described as exacting. He looks forward to helping his patients with any orthopedic issue whether it is from being a weekend warrior or that unfortunate mishap at work.
Dr. Holland has been a team physician for the Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and SuperSonics, and he is a volunteer physician for the Professional Golfers’ Association. He enjoys golf, fitness, astronomy, electronics, photography and fine dining.
