Overview
Michael A. Santoro, MD, is board-certified in occupational medicine. He specializes in determining the cause and treatment of work-related conditions, including injuries, illnesses and the effects of exposure, as well as managing and resolving complicated and long-standing workers’ compensation (L&I) cases.
Since coming back to Washington State in 2007, he has been amazed at the complexity of the Workers’ Compensation (L&I) system compared to other states. As an expert in this field, he takes great pleasure in helping injured workers to navigate through this “maze” towards recovery and return to a productive life.
Dr. Santoro is married with two now grown sons. He loves the many beautiful natural areas in Washington state which help to bring him and others into a sense of balance. He enjoys playing the violin and has sung in the past with professional vocal music groups, including the Indianapolis Opera chorus.
