Overview
Sara Jurek, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive and arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. She has advanced fellowship training in the treatment of shoulder and elbow disorders as well as sports medicine. She specializes in: sports medicine, shoulder surgery, rotator cuff-repair, knee surgery, elbow surgery, shoulder instability/dislocation surgery, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, cartilage preservation and restoration, injury/fracture care, and arthroscopy and minimally invasive procedures.
The highest quality of care and an honest, informed relationship and dialogue are among the numerous and tremendously important things that she offers to her patients. As a physician and orthopedic surgeon, Her goal is to return her patients to their activities as safely and efficiently as possible.
In addition to her duties as a staff team physician at Seattle University, Dr. Jurek is an avid CrossFitter and runner who enjoys painting, reading good fiction, cooking, improving her Spanish and spending time with family, friends and her dogs.
