Overview
Scott E. Hormel, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in knee and shoulder surgery. His practice is focused on the surgical treatment of injuries and sports-related conditions of the knee and shoulder. His goal is to return professional and recreational athletes back to full athletic participation using both surgical and rehabilitative methods.
Dr. Hormel stays very active and involved in baseball and fast-pitch softball, coaching and helping to prevent and repair athletic injuries. He has also been a team orthopedist or consulting physician for local sports teams and institutions, including: Chaffey Baseball Club, Seattle Majestics Football, Lewis-Clark State College Baseball, Seattle University, and Sammamish High School.
He is a native of Bellevue, Washington and has practiced for over 15 years with Orthopedic Physician Associates. He and his wife Shari have four children. He enjoys skiing, golf, woodworking and architecture.
