Overview
Todd Klesert, MD, was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is an avid outdoorsman and photographer, but spends most of his free time raising his daughter with his wife. Although the Pacific Northwest has become his adopted home, he continues to root for his favorite sports teams from Michigan.
Since completing his medical training, he has been an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and at the University of Washington, where he remains a part-time clinical assistant professor, training future physicians and eye surgeons. He has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has been principal investigator for several clinical trials.
